Joy McLeod - Choral Director

Joy teaches piano and voice, and runs a home-based business in used printed music. Upon completion of her Bachelor Degree at Brandon University's School of Music in 1994, she moved to Victoria, BC where she directed and accompanied several choirs for mixed, male or female voices. She has twenty years experience as a church organist and choir director.

In 2006, Joy moved to the Sunshine Coast and now resides in Halfmoon Bay.  She is excited at the level of energy and enthusiasm shown by members of the Suncoast Singers and the favourable response of the community to their performances.

Joy is active in the British Columbia music and performing arts scene, serving as Board Member of the BC Choral Federation, representing the lower Sunshine Coast, and as Choral Music Chair of the Sunshine Coast Festival of the Performing Arts.  Visit Joy's website at www.usedmusic.ca.
